2022-11-02 | (A) Jobbo Fett | vs | JobboFett | | Nationalist win | An exciting scenario that pits early war tanks, a bad mortar, plenty of squads, and interesting terrain to fight for, around, and into. Inexperienced crews and lack of guns doesn't make the tanks any less of a threat, as the T-26s would soon learn. There's an interesting back and forth with the Republicans trying to score as many points as possible, with Nationalists trying to approach as soon as possible and control the ingress points. When the Republicans finally get their main reinforcements, the Nationalists have to switch to a conservative posture to not be overrun or lose their hard-fought territory. Definitely worth checking it out. Played with the Republican balance, which felt nice, as the extra MG-less tank doesn't allow for too many shenanigans. |
2022-07-27 | (A) Shane Pask | vs | | | Nationalist win | Turn 1 saw the snowfall become heavy and it stayed that way for the whole game. The Nationalists quickly drove forward and controlled everything south of the bridge (and the bridge) by turn 4. When the Republicans regained the bridge, the game was very close. On the last turn I launched an ineffective assault on the Republican village and grabbed one building but was easily expelled by the Republicans on their last turn. The western surge by the Republicans was largely repulsed but 1 CX squad made it to a building held by 1 Nationalist squad. It was immediately ambushed but the CC was inconclusive. That left the bridge: Republicans needed to capture the building just over the bridge for a tied game. The two T26s nearby did their job and broke the occupants. The Republicans had 3 squads and a leader within range but with limited approach routes due to extensive smoke, two lingering Panzers plus two wrecked Panzers - 1 burning on the bridge, and a squad with a DC. The DC was thrown well enough to break the leader and pin EVERY squad to keep the building in Nationalist hands for the win. |

2020-07-12 | (D) Jeff B | vs | Steve Etzelmueller | | Republican win | A Turn 1 concession after two uncharacteristically bold stack moves met with doom. Shame, as this is one of my all-time favorite scenarios. |

2020-01-18 | (A) Scott Sherer | vs | Skip Dykeman | | Republican win | Interesting scenario that I thought I would like more. Played at the January CAASL Meeting, so it was a) FtF, b) rushed set-up as we only decided to play it at the meeting, and c) rushed play as we had a hard time limit. Because of the complexities of the VC's and the SSRs, I think it would have been much more enjoyable to play on VASL, or at least having more time to digest the concept and think about the play a bit more. |
2019-07-16 | (A) Chuck Dye | vs | Kevin Killeen | | Republican win | went down to a CC in the final turn |
2019-04-03 | (A) James Lowry | vs | Patch Bunny | | Republican win
2019-01-19 | (D) Gordon Jupp | vs | Neil Brunger | | Nationalist win | Really good fun for the return/switch sides - once again we had a real ding dong battle over the bridge hex, won in the end by Neil as my Commissar proved to be a liability, breaking twice on NMC! I got squads into the hex but ended up locked in melee, great game tho! |
2019-01-11 | (A) Gordon Jupp | vs | Neil Brunger | | Nationalist win | Another great playing - I lost most of the Tanks, but then so did Neil and I managed to squeak it on the last turn by recapturing the bridge hex, great fun! |
2018-08-24 | (A) Gordon Jupp | vs | Derek Cox | | Nationalist win | An absolutely cracking game! I played this in 2012 and always wanted to play it again...so glad I did, burning tin cans, CC galore and DC'S going off, fantastic :) |
2018-08-05 | (A) Juan Garrido | vs | Solo | | Nationalist win | The game lasted until the last CCPh, where 3 different CCs took place in victory building locations. |
2017-04-08 | (A) Jeff B | vs | Pierce Mason | | Nationalist win | Nationalists bum rushed the east, VBM freezing the token force left to guard the two victory buildings there, and securing both by Turn 2. The west was a different story, as most of the invading force broke in their onslaught. So this was where the meat of the reinforcements headed Turn 2. Turn 3 saw the central building change hands and the Republicans in desperate need of reinforcements. By the time they entered the fray however the Nationalists had the south bank pretty well in hand, having taken the bridge on Turn 4, and the western buildings Turn 5. The tank battles were fairly even, but WA played a huge part in Nationalist survival. By game end they were down to one tank however, having lost two to enemy fire and three to malf'd guns. The Republicans ended with two mobile tanks and one immobilized. They did end up taking the bridge back, and this hex provided for a very exciting last turn, but that was as far as they got, and the Nationalists ended the game with a decided victory, both in building VPs and CVP (which have no bearing on the end). Great early war scenario. |
2015-09-25 | (D) Ian Morris | vs | Gerard Burton | | Nationalist win
2015-07-12 | (D) Richard Carter | vs | Mark Moore | | Nationalist win | I lost the Bridge Hex to his nice move down the gully. I did take the crossroads, but w/ the loss of the Bridge hex I lost by 4 points. I do think this takes a couple of playings to get it for the Republican player. I'd like to try it again |
2014-09-03 | (D) Aaron Sibley | vs | Randy Strader | | Republican win | Tough win for the Republicans. Needed to take the crossroads for 5vp with a t26 tank, which had a squad in a foxhole with a DC. Thrown DC broke the user and t26 enters hex in Glory... |
2014-09-03 | (A) Randy Strader | vs | Aaron Sibley | | Republican win | Snow started falling on first turn, enhancing LV hindrance. Coupled with inexperienced crews made Nationalist tanks less effective. |
2013-09-16 | (A) Dave Mareske | vs | Mark Fischer | | Nationalist win
2013-06-23 | (A) Martí Cabré | vs | Ryan Powers | | Nationalist win | Ryan had to concede the PBEM scenario for work reasons, we were half way through it and the Nationalists had taken the town up to the bridge Location and had quite good defending positions. The Republicans were entering their reinforcements and needed to retake all the town. |
2013-05-12 | (D) Jesus Pie | vs | tozesantos | | Nationalist win | Versus a competent Nationalist Player is dificult for the Republican to recover enough buildings after the initial Nationalist onslaught. A funny scenario, however... |
2013-04-06 | (A) Richard Jenulis | vs | Brent Morris | | Nationalist win
2012-09-03 | (A) Steffen Knippel | vs | Erik Lindblad | | Nationalist win | An absolute blast! Both sides are attackers at various times, and lots of side actions (that may or not influence the VC conditions) are possible. |
2012-08-05 | (A) Ross Mulcare | vs | Tom Raymo | | Republican win
2012-07-23 | (A) Ron Garcia | vs | Darryl M. | | Nationalist win

2011-07-11 | (A) Andy Beaton | vs | Victor Behar | | Nationalist win | Interesting game, marred by the fact that I got all my good rolls for the year at once. Nationalists grabbed a line at the gully and the Republicans never got back across it. |
2011-02-24 | (A) Bob Callen | vs | Mike Malloy | | Nationalist win | Really good game. Was able to get Republicans out of some VC buildings early to reduce the accumulation of points, then fairly successful with repositioning tanks. Republican reinforcements came over the big hill, but this took too long. I think they needed to come in on the road to be able to exert more influence on the end game earlier. |
2010-12-01 | (A) Glen Taylor | vs | Dennis | | Republican win | Nationalist have to get to the bridge and defend early. It is wirth 5 points. Defend the other 5 VP hex as well. Take as many 1 VP building as possible. The Repunlicans are going to get most all the points the first 3 turns. Nationalist are forced into a take away roll. Fun!!! |

2010-09-19 | (A) Michael Rodgers | vs | Adrian Earle | | Republican win
2010-07-30 | (D) Michael Rodgers | vs | J.P.Raymond | | Republican win | I just barely won this as the Republicans. I had one bit of luck; my sniper broke three enemy squads mid game to open up one flank. As well, I was able to eliminate a stack of three broken squads for failure to rout and then kill their leader by CC. Still, I needed to run tanks down to the 1aJ8 cross roads on the last turn to seal the deal. If my opponent had entrenched anyone there, I could not have won. I had 28 VP to his 23. |
2010-07-04 | (A) Sebastia Hummel | vs | Armin Kraft | | Nationalist win
2010-07-03 | (D) Edward Fritz | vs | Anthony Flanagan | | Nationalist win | Republican should have Human Waved one turn earlier. Nationalist moved tanks into position to stall Republican counter attack. Republican lost by 1 point. |
2010-06-16 | (D) David Ramsey | vs | Martin Barker | | Republican win | Tricky scenario for VP calculation. Never sure whether to attack or defend. I won the tank battle as the republican and that let me grab the crossroads hex for the win, but it was in the balance throughout. |
