2024-01-30 | (A) Andy Bagley | vs | Johan Vrijdaghs | | Polish win | Second playing of this scenario, which again featured a mass of opposing tanks chasing each other around the village. Early success for the Poles meant that there was virtually nothing left of the Russian at-start forces by the time their reinforcements arrived, so I just had to hold on to the victory buildings I captured. A few good Russian shots made this harder than it might have been, and there was still a theoretical chance of a Russian comeback when we ran out of time, but it was very unlikely and my opponent generously conceded. |

2020-12-18 | (A) Andy Bagley | vs | Neil Brunger | | Polish win | I was really lucky to win this one; I would certainly have lost but for rolling snakeyes on a 1-2 CC in the last victory building on Russian turn 5, which cleared the way to take it.
The Russians began by falling back from the P7 building straight away, leaving their force virtually intact to defend the other two victory buildings, with the result that they were still contested when the Russian reinforcements arrived. Each side then tried to surround the other, and the game became a slugfest as tanks battled it out at point-blank range (pretty much the only range at which their feeble guns were effective!). However, the reinforcing Russian infantry couldn't make it into the village centre and in the end - thanks to a couple of lucky Polish DRs - they simply ran out of troops to defend. Very close, and a very enjoyable scenario. |

2019-12-15 | (A) walter mcwilliams | vs | Tom Kearney | | Polish win | My poles attacked with some Renault tanks in support to retake the village of Krasne. It was a tight scenario coming down to the last CC for a polish win |
2019-10-06 | (A) nathan wegener | vs | Scott Martin | | Polish win | Upfront defense was surrounded and locked in melee in turn 1. This allowed me to capture all 3 VC buildings by Turn 3 and be in a good defensive position for the counter attack. Opponent conceded as he had lost all at start infantry. Seems a bit tough on the Ruskies... |
2019-09-29 | (A) Rich Weiley | vs | Dave Wallace | | Polish win | Really tough for the Soviets. |
2018-10-22 | (A) Martà Cabré | vs | Pablo Ruiz | | Russian win | The Polish advance went very well to the edge of the houses having destroyed the Russian AT gun. Then on turn 3 a lucky shot broken a stack of 3 squads plus leader that was about to take one house, then Russian tanks moved behind and killed the whole stack for failure to rout. The other Russian tanks started a showdown on the Polish tanks that ended with several wrecked tanks. The Russians won the next two infantry CC defending the houses, making impossible for the Poles to win, so I conceded on turn 4. |
2018-10-19 | (D) Andy Beaton | vs | Don Holland | | Russian win | Conceded teh left building from the start, concentrated my forces in the remaining two. I had very good luck breaking up Polish infantry attacks before they got across the road. Two of my tanks got in behind the Polish infantry unchallenged by Polish tanks. Two Polish tanks killed by 37L critical hits, 2 killed by other tanks, 2 killed in street fighting. This left me with a surplus of surviving Russian tanks which I parked in the VC buildings. Polish player conceded. |
2018-10-03 | (A) nathan wegener | vs | Scott Martin | | Polish win | Upfront defense was chewed up without Polish casualties in turn 1. This allowed me to capture all 3 VC buildings by Turn 3 and be in a good defensive position for the counter attack. Russian tanks did a number on the Polish counterparts but I was able to keep enough of an infantry screen in the buildings to keep control of all. Seems a bit tough on the Ruskies... |
2017-12-26 | (D) Jason Wert | vs | Gabe Wert | | Polish win | Very nice game with tense action. Poles rolled through into all three victory buildings by end of turn 3, but Russians countered by coming in with infantry on southern route. Tanks kept the Pole Tanks away from the action, but came up short on a melee, handing the Poles the victory. |
2017-09-09 | (A) David Garvin | vs | Walter Kenney | | Russian win | What a fantastic match. My initial assault went in on my left flank and I was able to make very good initial progress. Then I faced a barrage of Soviet fire that caused a number of morale checks. My men failed ELR on most of them and I feared that my assault would falter. I did recover, however, and was able to keep the pressure on him from behind as I swung round with my tanks to block rout paths.
I ended up getting the second of three objectives and was on the verge of the fourth on the final turn.
My tanks and my infantry took care of most of his tanks, leaving me a free hand in the village for the most part.
In the end, one Soviet squad withstood shot after shot and refused to wield to my attempt to wrest control of that third objective from him. Great match! |

2016-09-04 | (A) fabrizio da pra | vs | Mario Aceto | | Polish win | A swarm of Polish tank and Infrantry freezed and killed the Russians before reinforcement could come in.
The Russian Gun immobilized a tank but was put out of action soon after on 2+2 IFT.

2016-03-29 | (A) nathan wegener | vs | Dave Mareske | | Polish win | 3 key rolls in forward most building - passed 2mc on a 16 flat attack advanced in and whacked 2 squads in CC. Then the next tank shot broke squad with MMG and leader. Defense collapsed and i charged fwd in turn 2. Had board to myself before the Russ reinforcements entered. I think this may be tough on Ruskies... |
2016-03-16 | (A) Paolo Cariolato | vs | Federico Corso | | Polish win | The russians set up an advanced defence that was encircled by the polish AFV, couple of AFV freezed key russian locations and it was over in a couple of turns. I replay it every time. |
2016-03-01 | (A) mark watson | vs | Jeff Wasserman | | Polish win | Always nice to have a Polish/Russian scenario. The Polish armour luckily killed the soviet vehicles, but where I really diced Jeff was in the CC. Twice I won with snake-eyes, generating an army of unstoppable leaders. Good scenario. |
