Overview:
Preliminary to the main German attack on Medjez, a position known as Fort McGregor had to be seized from British defenders. The forward outpost consisted of an infantry company with its platoons dug in around a bare, rocky knoll, with the entire position surrounded by wire. Since there was practically no natural cover aside from scrub, the Germans decided to make a night assault on the “fort”. . .

2017-04-04(A) B-E Karlsson vs British win
2014-02-28(D) Richard Carter vs Dave Clemons German winThe germans were able to wrest the summit hexes. My brits fought valiantly but were overwhelmed. I love night scenarios and had fun as the defender though the space is tight and maneuverability is low. I think I risked some units by being too aggressive early on and it didn't pay off.
