Overview:

In the northern region of Pomerania, SS-Untersturmfuhrer Fritz Kaurauf and his ad hoc force drove towards the cross-roads at Klein-Silber, his mission to cut off the advance of Russian forces preparing for another thrust deeper into Germany. Entering the outskirts of Zeigenhagen, the advance force of assault guns and infantry was halted by stiff resistance from Russian troops, who spread AT mines on the narrow streets and were supported by a cleverly-emplaced AT gun. Kaurauf brought up the Tigers to deal with the situation. . .

2021-09-25(D) Dan Best vs Kermit Mullins Russian win
2021-09-25(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Russian winI stunk it up pretty bad in this game. MALF'd a King Tiger and watched the IS-2's blow him to pcs. My infantry just couldn't get there. Tough game for me mentally. MALF'd machine guns and an 88LL remind me why I dislike this game sometimes.
2020-12-29(A) Dave Mareske vs Tom Repetti German (SS) winA great game with Tuomo. Lots of 12s early plagued the German advance, but the Russians drove one of their tanks into a cellar and was able to CC another and then a Tiger got a CH on the third. With only one Tiger left and plenty of infantry were able to get off the board by Turn 7. The SS resolve proved too much for the defending Russians.

2019-01-16(D) Lorenzo Marinaro vs massimiliano colosimo German (SS) winHard fought game where I did a fighting withdrawal with my infantry. Unfortunately my tanks& AT gun killed nothing (some really bad DRs) and the germans won. My opponent was very good and advanced with great skill winning the game.
2018-12-18(D) Jeff B vs Magnus Rimvall German (SS) win5.75 hrsGermans attacked exclusively up the eastern hill, with only a token expeditionary HS sent to the western hill on Turn 2. The first two turns went just fine for the Russians, who had played a strong up-front defense. Once the German reinforcements entered it was a whole 'nother game however. I foolishly had not withdrawn in anticipation of this and paid dearly for this mistake. My eastern flank would have been fine though if it wasn't for a sniper breaking a key cornerstone squad. Considering they only have 6 squads though, every squad is a key squad for the Russians. In fact two lucky rolls can crumble an entire flank. Between my overaggressive play on the western hill, some lucky German shots matched by poor Russian MCs, and the lucky sniper, this game was pretty well over by the end of Turn 3. By the end of Turn 4 I had nobody left other than a wounded leader who couldn't manage to pickup a MMG, my as-yet-to-shoot crew, and my three tanks. I could very easily have thrown in the towel at this point, but I gutted it out for two more turns. By then I had lost all but one tank and it was time to call it quits. I think either side has a fair chance in this one, in fact I think I'd prefer the Russians, but our game just goes to show how easily a small, dicey scenario can fall apart.
2018-12-15(A) Scott Fischbein vs Bryant Henley In progressAnother fun game with Bryant - lots of ups and downs in this one - lost one of my Stugs early, and almost lost a second to his HIP gun, but luckily LOS was blocked for that one! Was feeling pretty good about things until the IS-2s showed up directly in the exit path for my Tigers. Lost one Tiger in that showdown and the other one made it through, but then lost my StuH to the surprisingly effective Russian AT gun. Things evened out a bit when Bryant got a little bold with one of his IS-2s and lost it to a PF rolling snake eyes. It was a close game in turn five and sadly we had to call it due to lack of time to finish it out.

2013-10-09(A) Fred Ingram vs Jeff Wasserman Russian winASLOK 2013
2013-06-21(A) Michael Rodgers vs Chris Buehller Russian winI lost a Stug early due to a stupid mistake. I didn't count MP's well enough to use the Tigers as quick as possible. One Tiger failed the start up roll. The other Tiger broke its gun.

2010-06-23(A) Ian Willey vs MacRob German (SS) winAwuful dice by the Russian made this easier than it should have been. I took out a JS with a rear shot from the Stug and another with three PF hits, one dud and one bounce. CR'ed two squads with PF shots which were my main losses!!!!! I don't think I will try this one again.
2010-06-05(D) Keith Colins vs Jeff Taylor Russian winIt bit dicely as Scherepunkt sceanrios seem to be. 3 bad rolls early put my opponent behind an the 8 ball and he never recovered.
