Three for the Third ETO (id:#61133)
(ASL Journal # 9 ID:J144)
Designer: Pete Shelling
Starter kit scenario?:    Deluxe scenario?:
As the Third Infantry Division approached the center of Nuremberg, the battle developed into the type of fighting the US had hoped to avoid. Slow, costly advances through the rubble-strewn streets deprived the XV Corps of their mobility advantage, and the determined resistance of remaining German troops would give the GIs of the “Rock of the Marne” Division their greatest challenge since the battles for Alsace three months earlier.

2011-10-14(A) Michael Rodgers vs Bruno L'Archeveque German winGerman CG purchase gave two more squads and one more leader. The Americans had the 105 Sherman, which eventually went down to a Panzerfaust. American concedes after 5 turns because not enough progress made and too many broken MMC. American scenario choice was two MTR halftracks.
2011-06-30(A) David Ramsey vs Martin Barker German winBashed around by the MG stack, then the open ground, then the planes, then the 2 88s (from the campaign selection forces) - too much pain for those 6 morale US squads.
