Designer: Ralph McDonald
Starter kit scenario?:    Deluxe scenario?:

Balance:
German (SS)Russian
Overview:
The third battle of Kharkov began with German forces pushing towards the city from various directions. Elements of the 2nd SS-Panzer Grenadier-Division ‘Das Reich’ advancing from the southwest were ordered to take the city of Pawlograd and its railroad station. Early on the morning of 22 February, SS-Hauptscharführer Kloskowski was riding in his Panzer III some 10 minutes ahead of his advance platoon when he fought his way to a large bridge crossing the Woltschja River. Kloskowski’s orders were to stop if encountering strong resistance. Having already destroyed several anti-tank guns, trucks and an armored car before reaching the bridge, Kloskowski had no intention of stopping there.

2015-08-25(A) nathan wegener vs Dave Mareske German (SS) winVery tense back and forth. The Killer came thru with an opening round T34 kill and broke one conscript in the first movement phase but lost the Tiger to a CH from an ATG. His remaining T34 charged the bridge and Killer moved to interdict his entry area in T2. Nailed the T34 with the FT but lost the 9-2 to a nasty MMG shot. My best 2 units out of the game without doing anything. In the end Killer put the beat down on the Russian reinforcements and allowed me to swing into the village.
2015-08-21(D) Paolo Cariolato vs Fabrizio Da Pra Russian win
2015-07-29(D) Paolo Cariolato vs Gaetano Girelli Russian win
2014-10-19(D) Gordon Jupp vs Nick Holmshaw Russian winAnother fun game, with plenty of thrills and spills! Unfortunately for Nick 'killer' and his Pz3 got taken out by one of the 45mm ATG and the attack stalled a bit short of the objectives...
2014-10-09(A) Gordon Jupp vs Ed Fritz Jnr Russian winASLOK 2014. Really interesting scenario well worth a replay! Germans have a Tiger and a Pz 3 to take on 4 T34 and 2 ATG, with both sides having drip fed reinforcements.
