The tactics adopted by the russians turned out to be a nightmare. There was 3 assault groups, one making a frontal attack from the north that was utterly destroyed by the precise shot of the germans, a second attack that bypassed german resistance and captured one building, and the third trying a frontal assault from the east but without success and many losses. A deadly day for russians. Casualties : -Russian: 9 squads, 1 halfsquad, 2 leaders. -German: 2 squads, 1 leader

My Russians tried to assault all three of the target buildings. In the centre, there was lots of covering fire that held me back, but by turn 5 a double-one roll in the building got me my only building control. The demo charge on the left almost got used successfully, but not quite. The building on the right was a close run thing, but an ambush in the final turn's CC wiped me out. Lots of CC in this game. In retrospect I should have concentrated more on just two of the targets.

Russian reserves all enter on the east on turn 3, Germans play avoid the Russian kill stacks on the west (also concentrated). Russians all cx dash into close combat to try to control their second building on the last turn, can't make the final dice roll. Hard to break units in this one without a large FP concentration relative to the amount of units on the board.
