An action on September 23rd was typical of the use of armor in a security service. On this date, the Slovak armor was escorting 80 German pioneers and Ukrainian militia on a road-building operation in the Kapcevicy area, a highly wooded and marshy area in central Ukraine. The Germans and Ukrainians were ambushed by a moderate sized force of partisans. The light tank of the Slovakian Security Division moved forward to meet the attack.
Attacker: Axis (German Pioneers and Escort from Slovakian 101st Regiment)
