American (USMC)Japanese
Overview:
As Marine pioneers attempted to build a ford across Suicide creek, the entire line was tasked with providing suppressive fore and diversionary attacks to keep the Japanese busy. Lt. Col. Williams, CO of the 3/7 Marines, ordered yet another crossing attempt to the east where the bulldozers were hard at work. The Marines threw themselves across the stream at the alert defenders of the Japanese 141st Regiment.

2019-05-21(D) Raoul Duke vs MB American (USMC) winA great (and quick!) introduction to Suicide Creek and the intracices of fighting in and around pillboxes. On the one hand, the rule requiring that pillboxes be setup where they have LOS to the stream makes it somewhat tricky to make a properly overlapping defense. On the other hand, the existance of pillbox cellars mean that the Japanese can skulk between the pillbox and cellar, making it difficult for the Marines to root them out.
2017-11-26(D) Richard Jenulis vs Greg Barness American (USMC) win
2015-10-03(A) Jason Wert vs Gabe Wert American (USMC) winNice tight scenario. The IJA lurk and the Marines have to root them out of the PB's
2014-03-23(D) Aaron Sibley vs Jeff Coleman Japanese winA solid learning scenario getting ready for the SC campaign.
2013-08-25(A) Richard Jenulis vs Richard King Japanese win
