Overview:

Christmas Day found the American garrison at Bastogne surrounded. The Germans marked the holiday with an assault on the hitherto quite northwestern perimeter – with Bastogne as the goal. Kampfgruppe Maucke split up at dawn, with the smaller element moving north to bypass Champs. It unknowingly advanced to a collision with B and C Companies of the 502nd Parachute Infantry. . .
Attacker: German (Panzergrenadier Regiment 115 / Panzer Battalion 115)

2021-02-06(D) M T vs R.S. American winThe Hellcats were able to stop the German armor, destroying six AFVs by the end of turn 4 with the loss of one vehicle and a Stun result on the other. This scenario seems very challenging for the Germans, their numerical advantage is easily balanced by the Hellcats being HIP and firing with a ROF of 2. Also, the 76L is very powerful against PzIVs and StugIIIs.
2020-12-29(A) Christopher Graff vs Stephen Solomon German winGermans rushed forward with an infantry screen in the treeline dividing the two boards, and got lucky destroying an American TD early and forcing the crew on the other Hellcat to abandon the vehicle. It was tough for Steve to recover following that even after breaking several of my squads on the left flank. It wasn't enough to stop several German tanks from reaching the exit. Good game but a tough run for the Americans!
2019-12-16(A) Dan Best vs Dave Mareske American win
2019-01-29(D) John Malaska vs Zeb Tingley American winBig moment was when CE'd M18 was hit by HE round, but escaped with a '12' dud effect.

This game is a cruel mistress.
2018-02-14(A) Ruben Rigillo vs Francesco Berucci German win
