Overview:

On 10 May, south of Mosjoen, two platoons from the 5th Independent Company along with Norwegian soldiers laid a deadly ambush for a German motorcycle vanguard. The Allies then retreated to the Hemnesberget area with the aim of delaying the Germans there for a time. But the Germans had launched an audacious attack which was to wreak havoc with their enemies’ plans. A troop-ladened steamship landed German troops in Hemnesberget ahead of them. .

2026-01-09(A) Don Berg vs Solo German winI tried to use an Allied set-up from a YouTube Let's Play. I chose to arrive on the O4 pier, whereas the video arrived on the H4 one, so I had to use the principles of their defense after that. The allies pushed forward aggressively on the defense, and kept the Germans bottled up and almost broke through from the north to have los on the pier. The Germans rallied aggressively and were able to hold on and press forward with the starting forces and use the follow-up troops to hold the flank. The kill stack in Z0 very effectively controlled the S4 street with a firelane for two turns, but the Germans were able to slip a couple of units across. A British squad in the R2 building became fanatic and held on until the game end. On the turn 6 the final Allied squads broke or were held up in CC, so that the Germans could pour towards the board edge on turn 7 for the win.
2025-10-13(D) Jobbo Fett vs JobboFett Norwegian / British winAn aggressive setup was met with a massed stack of angry Germans that, initially, met with great success, knocking out a 9-2 + Hero stack in Z0, only for the survivors, crucially the 9-2 to self-rally and immediately break the Germans in turn. While both sides traded blows, the Brits quickly got the upper-hand and, from there, it was an uphill battle for the Germans. Having to get off the pier each turn was met with aggressive defenders occupying the adjacent hexes, where possible, and denying the Germans any movement without the possibility of massive losses.

The scenario can be very swingy, and while I'm happy I managed a Norwegian/British victory, it doesn't feel like a scenario I'd like to play more than once.
2025-10-05(D) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne DuvalD German winAllies were inflicting heavy losses and breaking most of the Germans as they entered along the central pier. Pulling back to exit area then caused the British defenders to be over whelmed from three sides. Came down to last Turn with German superiority.
2025-05-26(A) Rob Tyson vs Adam Lunney German win
2022-08-09(D) Rick HAGAN vs German German winMade a major miscalculation by misunderstanding my objective and therefore set up too far west and became too engaged with the main German force advancing on the north side of the set-up area.
During this engagement I lost a pinned British squad and my 9-2 in CC with a German half-squad.
