Overview:

After the rout of the 3rd Battalion at Schmidt, the Germans did not immediately take advantage of the opportunity to continue the atatck to kommerscheidt. As many as 100 or more straggles from the 3rd Battalion were organized into the defense of the 1st Battalion. Most importantly, three Sherman tanks of the 1st Platoon, A Company, 707th Tank Battalion led by Lt. Fleig, were able to traverse the Kall Trail and make their way to Kommerscheidt. The German attack came later in the afternoon.
Attacker: German (Grenadier Regiment 1055, Infantry Division 89)

2024-11-10(A) Seumas Hoskins vs Dean German winAmericans setup dispersed across the map anticipating strong OBA, but perhaps too dispersed to be effective defenders. German panzers dominated from the hilltop taking out all the Shermans by second turn and cracking a few defenders trying to shuffle the line. Game ended early after German OBA locked down the hill approach and a swift German advance to the trench line captured enough VPs for a game end win.
