Overview:
"We Surrender" - In an attempt to halt the Italian 10th Army which was retreating south from Benghazi, Combeforce – a motor infantry battalion reinforced with artillery and armored cars – was dispatched ahead of the pursuing British 7th Armored Division. Combeforce cut the coast road north of Agedabia less than an hour before the first Italians arrived on the scene. For two days, they repelled a series of disjointed Italian attacks. Finally, the Italians, having reinforced during the night, made a last desperate attempt to break through. . .Attacker: Italian (10º Armata)
