Overview:

It was 1945 and the advance through Germany rolled on. While reconning the local area, Harbour Party, with one platoon of B Coy, The King’s Own Scottish Borderers found the village of Räber had not been cleared. Subsequently there as a struggle for control of the village.

2022-12-11(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best British winDan's British came up the center into my MLR with 3-1/2 squads and the 9-1 with two other flanking forces. My Germans fired everything they had and the average rolls were a 10. So Dan's boys proceeded to whip me like red-headed stepchild. I tried to fall back as the British ran all over me. My shots were completely ineffective against his units moving in the open...and it was game over long before my final unit was broken on Turn 5. Sniper hit and killed my 8-1 and when my sniper had a chance at the 9-1, he instead broke the worst unit in the stack. Dan's attack was risky up the center, but because I couldn't roll worth a damn, it succeeded and this gave his flanking forces the opening to wrap up the game for the win. I think this is a good scenario and I don't want to judge it based on my catastrophically bad dice rolls.
