Overview:

The Perths entered undefended Arnara, two miles northwest of Pofi. Beyond lay three hills code-named "Tom", "Dick", and "Harry". The first two were taken with little difficulty by the Cape Breton Highlanders of Canada and the Irish Regiment of Canada respectively, and the 8th Hussars reached Ceccano. German forces were reported retreating along Route 6 and the Strathconas were ordered to cut them off. They were greeted at the crossroads near the village of Torrice by tanks, self-propelled guns and mounted infantry of the 26th Panzer Division, desperately trying to keep open this vital link....

2022-08-02(A) Robert Wiebe vs Canadian German winAggressive German counter-attacking and good die rolls on their side saw them easily hand a defeat to the Canadians who rolled poorly. Needing 'snake-eyes' to have a chance of penetrating the Panther's frontal armour, meant most shots bounced off. And, when the CA player tried to move around for flank and rear shots, excessive IFE fire from other tanks was able to neutralize those threats before they could materialize.
2022-07-30(A) Robert Wiebe vs Canadian Canadian winMore aggressive German counter-attacking led to a much closer run thing. Only one CA tank remained to gain eyes on the objective. The German attack was hampered when a Panther rolled a 12 on the first shot of the game, clearing the way for the Canadians to kill off the other weaker tanks. Still, two Panthers remained formidable, as did the MMC's and their inherent PF checks, which destroyed a further 2-3 tanks.
2022-07-16(A) Robert Wiebe vs Canadian Canadian winGerman played to defensively, forgetting that the Canadians move last. At mission end, four Canadian tanks were able to gain LOS to the objective hex.
