2012-03-03(A) Jeff Coleman vs Fred Ingram German win
2012-03-02(D) Fred Ingram vs Jeff Coleman German winI am not sure about this one. The British have a huge task. They need to eliminate, break, or tie up units in CC so they are not in good order (otherwise they VP threshold is increased). Yet they have to have units moving across 2 deluxe boards on the short axis to get 14 VP on a victory board. The radio-less Matilda tanks are very powerful if they can drive up adjacent (20 FP if they have not moved) or if they freeze strong points.

Basically the game was lost on turn 3 when I had 2 good shots in a row. One stack of Brits had to take a K2 and Jeff yahtzeed the stack. Result was a wounded leader and 3 broken squads. The next rate shot from the same MMG resulted in a broken leader and 3 broken half squads. This was on my weak flank. Without that - it would have been a very close game.
