Overview:

Throughout May 27th, the Allies stubbornly held off the advancing Germans as they simultaneously prepared for a general withdrawal to a defense perimeter around Dunkirk. In an attempt to buy time a raid was ordered behind German lines. Elements of the British 1st Tank Brigade were ordered across a weakly held bridge to threaten assembly areas of the 7th Panzer. The Germans, still apprehensive after their scare from the British thrust at Arras days earlier, reacted strongly.
Attacker: British (1st Tank Brigade)
Defender: German (Panzer Division 7/Reinforcements)

2018-11-10(A) Shane Pask vs German winLost by merest of margins - 1 HS (with DC) & leader. Germans started with bad tactics - trying to avoid Matildas but getting their armour picked off anyway.
2016-10-10(D) Gordon Jupp vs Stuart Brant German winStuart fancied a re run but changing sides....He swept aside my bridge guards and advanced deep onto board 10. I decided to go all in and entered my reinforcements as close to the town as I could and threatened the British tanks with my dc toting engineers. Stuart didn't have a lot of luck in this game, compounded by the odd bit going my way, like the DI of both a Matilda II and I which resulted in the crews abandoning...I made steady progress and on turn 8 got a unit on the bridge, at which point we called it. Very intense action with a lot of units in a small area 😊
2016-08-24(A) Gordon Jupp vs Stuart Brant British winVASL, I pushed as far forward as I could to try and interdict the Germans entry, which worked well and Stuart was unable to make progress quickly enough.
2009-11-18(A) Jeff Waldon vs David Perham German winVASL
