Overview:

Having retreated out of Rummelsburg, the remains of SS Polizei Regiment fell back along the road leading northwest in an attempt to delay the Red Army and allow the civilian population time to escape. A very fluid situation soon developed, while the Soviets probed for weaknesses. A dangerously understrength SS Polizei battalion approached the village of Turzig about 16 kilometers north of Rummelsburg. Turzig, along with several of the Polizei's divisional vehicles, had been captured by surprise earlier in the day by the 10th Guards Rifle Division. The 10th now prepared to defend the village.
Attacker: German (SS) (SS-Polizei-Panzergrenadier-Division 4)
Defender: Russian (10th Guards Rifle Division)

2024-06-27(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Russian winFun scenario but tough for the Germans. My Germans did pretty well but didn't capture any of the large buildings. I ended the game with 20 points vs. about 27 for the Russians.
