Overview:

The defense of Burma was going poorly for the retreating British. To make this even more difficult, the Japanese slipped past the British and set up roadblocks near the Pin Chaung, a dry tributary of the Irrawaddy River. By morning, ordered were issued to clear the Japanese from the area. General Alexander tasked elements of the newly arrived Chinese 38th Division with support of C Squadron, 2nd RTR, 7th Armoured Brigade (the original “Desert Rats”). The attacked jumped off at 0730 hours and, after advancing 800 meters, the lead tank came under fire from a Japanese 75mm gun. . . .

2012-08-02(A) Kevin Killeen vs Ken Young Chinese / British winExited with my last group that was able to do so for the win. My excellent opponent had routed or destroyed all other units. Had to survive a 4(-2) residual to get them off the board. Easily could have gone the other way.
