Overview:

Despite the spirited opposition of Poland’s Army Lodz and the still-mobilizing Army Prusy, the German 1st and 4th Panzer Divisions drove deep into the heart of Poland. As the panzer divisions continued their assault, bending straight for the town of Piotrkow, the Polish general staff attempted to organize order out of the chaos and launched a counterattack by Army Prusy. During the morning, the first major tank battle of the war developed on the western outskirts of town.
Attacker: Polish (2nd Light Tank Battalion)

2021-06-07(D) Rick Galli vs Brian Kaschyk German win
2021-01-29(D) Dave Mareske vs Dennis Dowd German winDennis lined up the Polish tanks but missed the shots as the German armor rolled up. The Germans got a couple key bounding fire shots that crippled the Polish east flank. By the end of turn 2 the Poles had lost 4 of their 37Ls and the Germans had only one Stunned PZ1. Talking through the next turn Dennis conceded the game. This is a great game to learn some armor basics. For the Scenario of the Month, tried to do a VASL log, but did not hit the right button...sorry. Still trying to learn the VASL ways.
2021-01-29(D) Tom Kearney vs Walt McWilliams German winThis scenario featured momentum swings. Poles drew first blood by killing a 6 rad, then a MkII drove into a cellar. Spectacular performance by bounding firing, leader directed MkIII’s swung the momentum toward the Germans. A lowly MkI unexpected scored two kills, putting a nail in the Polish coffin.
2021-01-29(A) walter mcwilliams vs Tom Kerney German win
2020-05-05(A) Dave Mareske vs Dan Best Polish winThe Poles hit the German tanks early and knocked out 2 Pz IIIFs, both with Armor Leaders and then the Germans MALFed the other 37L. The other tanks tried to make a run for the board edge but the Poles gunned them down and only lost 2 7TPdw radioless tanks. Always good to play Dan, but this one was over early.
2018-07-22(A) Will Willow vs K. Mioduski German winGettysburg FTF
2012-12-15(A) Martí Cabré vs Ryan Powers German winWith German balance. Instead of playing hide-and-seek we just set two lines of tin cans and started shooting each other from Turn 1. With the Germans winning 7-3 I conceded on the second turn!
2012-03-22(A) Andy Beaton vs Richard Hooks German winPoles were absolutely slaughtered by accurate German shooting. Possibly my most lopsided defeat yet.
2011-04-23(A) Paul Messina vs William Riley Polish winA great scenario! This one came down to a final desperation shot from the last Polish AFV with a functioning MA. The hit was scored and a wreck ensued securing the win for Poland, but at a very high cost! An absolute must play!
2011-02-09(A) Paul Messina vs David Hassler Polish win
