Overview:

The 11th Armoured Division swiftly advanced northeast from Osnabrück. Lieutenant Colonel Max Robinson’s 4th Battalion, King’s Shropshire Light Infantry and their supporting A-34 Comet tanks from the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment attacked the village of Rahden. The shattered remnants of the 15th Panzer Grenadier Division offered a surprisingly spirited, yet futile defense of this small village.

2022-05-31(A) O Ramaille vs Pascal Boileau German winPlayed SK version. In their initial move, the British quickly lost a Comet to a Panzerfaust. The Germans retreat steadily and left some resolute squads defend key buildings. One of them withstood without a scratch two volleys of bullets from a killer stack composed of 3 squads/1MMG/2LMG and a 9-1 leader. A daring move from the remaining Comet helped with O'Connor infantry forced the way. But the British stood behind schedule. The Comet became more agressive and move through buildings to support British troops assault. The Sturmgeschütz III was destroyed by the Comet but the German troops held the ground and forced most of the British attackers to rout away. A final assault on the last remaining victory building was easily repelled by the Germans.
