Overview:

The Germans had turned south to conquer the rest of France. There was still much hard fighting going on across the front. From June 4th to June 18th the German casualty rate shot up from 2,000 a day to 5,000 a day. Some French units put up extreme resistance out of all proportion to the strategic situation. Battalion 109 RI (known for it's leftist political attitudes) made a stand against the fascist invaders at the Loire River between Jargeaud and Chatuenuef.

2015-01-21(D) Gordon Jupp vs Nick Holmshaw French winMy second playing of the scenario, but this time as the defender...this is a good fun scenario with plenty of replay value.
2014-11-15(A) Chris Brackney vs Jamey Cribbs German winGermans won in the last of three different CC Locations, Controlling 6 of the 8 buildings. The two tanks destroyed by each side were both via MG To Kills.Fun early-war infantry scenario with minor tin can support on both sides. Recommended.
2014-11-05(A) Gordon Jupp vs Marty Snow French winIntensive Fire 2014. Fun game, I went all out for the Exit VC, but regretted popping my head up on the level 1 hills as Marty had them well covered with the 75mm and mortars, causing some early casualties which set me back. I pushed on but Marty had it well covered and I couldn't manage the exit. Fun tho and worth a play!
2014-04-11(D) Robert Zinselmeyer vs Jim Risher German winASL Open
2014-04-06(D) Fred Ingram vs Pat Palma French winPat was going for the exit victory down his left flank right from the get go.

My AMR 35(L) almost won the game single handed for me. It traveled halfway across the board and then took out the SiG. It then moved right in the thick of the German infantry and conducted an Overrun. It survived at least 10 MG attempt TK (2 of them were snakes on the TH - but MG's don't get CH). On one turn it got a hot streak of 5 ROF against adjacent infantry targets (for 12 even IFT results). WOW

This is the 2nd playing for me and I think the French have a decided edge (We did play with the ASL Open suggested balance for the Germans)
