2023-02-11(D) Richard Jenulis vs Tony D'Andrea Chinese / British winNWASL Championship - round two. Close game, Tony flushed out all my HIP units pretty quickly.
2022-03-10(A) nathan wegener vs James Treu Chinese / British winOnly one smoke round before breaking the mortar and broke the artillery piece losing both smoke and WP. Back village defense allowed me to move quickly forward on my right flank. Lost a stuart to THH and leader to sniper. Looked grim until I went on a dice tear in turn 4 decimating his defense. Still down to last turn but i was able to surround his last Hs and break it
2019-11-11(D) Rich Weiley vs Dave Wilson Chinese / British winVASL game. Broke the gun on its first shot and eliminated it on my first repair roll. Used up my THHs early on low probability attacks so by the end game the British armour was unopposed and able to run riot.
2018-06-23(A) Stephen dedier vs Hunter, Jim Chinese / British winGreat balanced scenario. Jim and I have played many games to the last turn.
My Chinese pushed up the road and sent a small force down the opposite side to flank.
Took out 2 LMG squads and a leader but lost a Stuart to a tank hunter hero.
Dual of the malf. One tank malf and recalled and the Japanese gun malf and disabled on repair attempt.
Chinese managed to clear all the non-HIP units and use their last d-fire to find the HIPsters. One HS broke and had to rout from the V-hex and the last was within striking distance of multiple units. Advancing fire pinned him and CC engaged for the victory. Close run game that could have gone either way.
2017-08-05(D) Richard Carter vs Doug Sheppard Chinese / British winThis is a fantastic scenario. Ours came down to the end. Spreading Blazes tourney
2016-12-13(A) Andy Beaton vs Jonathan Kay Japanese winNever made a smoke roll and it took me half the game to start breaking the Japanese defences. A couple of dumb moves put it out of reach.
2016-10-08(D) Andy Beaton vs Wai-Kwong Wong Chinese / British winASLOK 2016
2016-05-26(D) Fred Schwarz vs PJ Norton Japanese win
2015-08-28(D) Gordon Jupp vs Derek Cox Japanese winAnother fun game, going down to the last (again!). I got lucky early on getting a 2KIA result against the gun crew and assisting squad who pushed the British gun into the sight of the MMG. The squad generated a hero on the first shot but all succumbed to the snakes ROF shot! I had placed the Japanese gun in the middle and it kept having to turn back and forwards as Derek used the British armour aggressively to try and unhinge the defence. That dance got interrupted when I managed to get a Tank Hunter Hero who survived a veritable firestorm to immobilize one of them! Anyway ended up with my having two squads in the back most hexes adjacent to the road who survived everything thrown against them..great fun!
