Overview:

Republican General Lister attacks with the 50th Division supported by 50 tanks of Soviet production, under General Pavlov's orders. During the offensive the Republican Battalion "Garibaldi" receives the order to take the Palacio de Ibarra, defended by the "Indomitable" Legionary Battalion of the CTV (Contingent Volunteer Troops): the Italian blood flows on Spanish soil.

2023-02-22(A) Jobbo Fett vs JobboFett Spanish Republican winA tense game that could use a few modifications, and sad to see that this scenario was never iterated upon, to my knowledge. Those tanks were impervious, thanks to the defenders being cornered and picked apart by the aggressive Republican advance, with much use of the provided support weapons. The low ELR and failed morale checks were problematic for the Italian conscript-level troops, eventually disrupting many of them and forcing Surrenders all over. If I were to iterate on this scenario, I think the defending Italians should get an ATR to combat the tanks, and the objective should be control of the N4 stone building or getting prisoners (perhaps a 10 or 15 VP limit).
