2020-09-03(D) M T vs N.N. German winThe American player chose BO#1. His troops advanced steadily in the early-to-mid game and were able to control the battlefield with their superior firepower. The German position almost collapsed after an important firegroup fell victim to the harsh winter conditions cowering rule - they really hang on by the skin of their teeth. The game was turned around however in the last possible minute, with the American player failing seven (!) consecutive Smoke rolls. Thus they were forced to cross open ground and lost enough men to defensive fire to not be able to fulfill the chosen victory condition. An exciting game, with some big swings of fate.
2020-07-09(D) Macari Samuel vs G. German winMy opponent chose Victory conditions #2. As the defender I decided to offer him as few fire opportunities as possible. The first part of the game allowed the Germans to obtain a very useful defensive advantage at the end when the American firepower began to wreak havoc. It was too late for the Allied, however.
2020-06-20(A) O Ramaille vs German winVery lucky Germans in both fire checks and MCs prevent the Americans to exit any squad. The plan seemed good but poor execution f*cked it all. A full victory for the Germans.
2020-06-19(A) Kermit Mullins vs Scott Waites American winMy Americans advanced rapidly, but then began to falter and break under fire. By Turn 3 it was looking like a German victory, but Turn 4, things turned in favor of the Americans and I was able to get 14 points off the board and achieve the BO#1 Victory Conditions.
