Overview:

VASL setup file under USER FILES. . . After the initial surprise attack at Inor on the 15th, the front stabilized mainly on the wooded hills northeast of Inor. On the 16th of May the Germans chose to attack on the French right flank in the woods of Inor and Neudan to test the French defense. The 14eme Regiment de Tirailleurs Algeriens, a regiment mostly of soldiers from French North Africa, had just one day to fortify their positions but was ready to transform the Inor woods into a wooden hell for the German soldiers who were not well trained for this kind of close fight.

2025-06-10(A) Pascal Boileau vs Bruno Nitrosso French winA fun scenario despite the feeling that it is probably pro-French. I was going to loose the game with the Germans as soon as the end of turn 2 but I was lucky enough to survive until end of turn 4 !
2024-10-16(D) Stephen dedier vs David Reenstra French winI think this one is tough on the Germans, they don't have much time and they have no great superiority.
I opted for deception on the French side and loaded up on HiP, Dummies and added Foxholes.
I made sure to protect my left flank and open ground as well as the road. Setup to make sure the Germans can't AM next to you concealed. I played to fall back but keep the option of running for the exit with HiP units if it was possible.
Overall, i had really good dice and beat up on the Germans who had to take too many 8 FP shots and i laid down lots of resid using the lmg and ifp of units to make sure nobody got be easily.
Ultimately, too many German units were lost or broke and the French had a solid defensive line without any lost units and Dave conceded.
2023-09-21(D) nathan wegener vs Wes Vaughn French winFun scenario to get a taste of Inor. The variable fortifications give some options to the French player and there is room for both sides to move but the woods mean slow going for the German. My opponent pushed hard but had several squads break in turn 3 & 4 so I slowed him up enough to take the win.
