2022-05-26(D) Andy Bagley vs Neil Brunger German winGreat scenario, lots of blood, guts and street fighting. The French punched through the centre of my line, delayed only slightly by the wire I had placed there, and piled smoke (not all of it accurate) on my defences slightly further south. I felt I was losing for a long time, first when French units successfully crossed the main street despite the fire lane I'd placed there, and second when I failed to win close combats at 3:1 and 4:1 odds. The French pretty much wrapped up the northern buildings apart from the northernmost stone building, where both sides kept adding to a melee, but the Germans put up more resistance further south. In the end it came down to the last CC of the final turn, with the French needing a DR of 7 or less to end the melee and take that last northern building. They failed, so ended with just 15VP of the required 17. Couldn't have been closer.
2021-12-05(D) Richard Jenulis vs Jeff Newell German winMy opponent failed his personal moral check on turn one when the German HMG directed by the 9-1 took out his kill stack and a German hyper-sniper wreaked havoc on his northern attack. Too bad, because this looked like a very cool scenario that would come down to the last turn. I defiantly would like to play this again and to conclusion.
2021-12-01(A) Paolo Cariolato vs Federico Corso French winThis is the best scenario I played from the Inor pack so far. It's mainly an infantry affair BUT those two AFV are instrumental to french victory, play them wisely. The scenario is re-playable since you have many options as defender and as attacker. As defender try not to defend in force the rowhouses since they became easily death trap for your troops, place wisely the roadblock in order to be able to connect the town blocks you plan to defend and place your GUN in orde to boost your defence. With OBA SMOKE the french player can easily overcame the outer ring of defence but the internal one is a different affair since there is not LOS to the second row of houses. where to attack is the question for the french. The answer is: it depends on German defence the only thing on which the attacker has control is the placement of the observer, try to put in a position where it can spot beyond the outer ring of rowhouses and make the OBA be felt in the later turns of play. Great scenario.
