Overview:

The day after landing and their failed attempt to secure the bridge at Zon intact, Colonel Robert Sink dispatched much of his 506th Regiment (also known as the ‘Five-Oh-Sink’) south into Eindhoven to help prepare for a link up with XXX Corp. When a pair of 88s were reported in the suburbs around Kloosterdreef and Woenselschestraat, Company F of 2/506 was dispatched to take out the guns in the flank and rear.

2025-06-13(A) Paul Legg vs Steve Cook German winFriday Night Fight.

I elected to come on from the east. splitting my forces 3 squads and the 9-1 to the north and the remainder to the south. The northern group pushed through what turned out to be the dummy group with very weak resistance as it was just a half squad with light mortar and the rest dummies. The southern group although removing the crew from the gun were held up significantly by a squad mmg 8-1 leader that refused to die despite 24 +2 shots raining in, being encircled and charged by a berserker, meanwhile my guys broke to 16 and 8 +1/2 shots. The delay proved costly so that even when I managed to pass by them there was no time to subdue the remaining group.
2024-08-22(D) Alex Ashton vs Martin Barker German winClose game eventually decided by the Americans running out of time.
Martin needed to take risks moving double time in the open and was punished with a leader killed, a leader wounded and three squads breaking. He resigned at the end of the movement phase of the 4th turn.
Excellent scenario that could of gone either way.
