Overview:

After setting up strong roadblocks along the roads to Hlegu and Rangoon, 55th Division tasked the 143rd Regiment with securing the railway junction at Pegu. Commonwealth leadership could not allow this to stand, as the railway and roads north ran parallel and very close at Pegu and, most critically, were the only track leading to Prome and out of the tightening encirclement. with these terrifying facts in mind, the order was given to drive the Japanese from the town and secure a road to the north. A company each from the 1st Cameronians, 1st West Yorks, and 1st/7th Gurkha Rifles, supported by artillery, assaulted the Japanese holding approaches to the town.
Attacker: Commonwealth (British/Gurkha) (1st Battalion, The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) 1st Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment, and 1st/7th Gurkha Rifles)
Defender: Japanese (1st and 3rd Battalions, 143rd Infantry Regiment, 55th Infantry Division)

2025-08-18(D) William Waymont vs Todd Hudman Commonwealth (British/Gurkha) winTodball's first win of the Action Pack. I am writing this from notes, but I seem to remember Todd's brits taking it to the Japanese with abandon. He took several shots from my guys and kept coming. His return fire seemed to Pin my defenders nearly every time the dice were rolled over the first couple of turns. We both agreed that being aggressive with the Brits was paramount to getting a win. This one was another nail biter. I'm digging this AP quite a lot.
2025-03-26(A) Richard Jenulis vs Daniel KalmanA Japanese win6 hrsChi-Open (round 1) British Balance.
This is a fun scenario, but even with the balance this is very difficult for the British. The Japanese pulled back from one strong defensive line to the next each turn leaving on average only one defensive fire shot per turn. The pre game artillery did nothing and of course, the British did not bring any Smoke rounds with them. A competent Japanese player should win this scenario most every time.
2025-03-16(A) Tuomo Lukkari vs Alex Koestler Japanese winI could not get agressive enough attack and conceded in turn 7 when ran out of troops. This on requires very precise and agressive play as the British. This scenario saw the creation of not one but two Japanese heroes for my opponent, can cross off thet from my bucket list.
