Overview:
Based on the events portrayed in the movie "Winter War" (1989). When the Russians invaded Finland in 1939, they expected to easily defeat the Finns. However, the Finnish citizen troops had one thing on their side, "sisu." One such Finnish reserve unit were the Reservists soldiers from Kauhava. Their unit was stationed near Lake Ladoga, by the River Taipale and was tasked with stopping the Russian advance. The men of J23 (the 23rd Jäger Regiment) are dug into their trenches asa the Russians come in waves of men and tanks. Outnumbered and outgunned, the Finns must hold their ground to prevent a break in the line and the ultimate conquest of Finland.Attacker: Russian (150th Infantry Division with Regimental Weapon Support)
