Overview:

The 90th Division was the northernmost unit of Walton Walker's XX Corps as it made its way to the Moselle. The German 1st Army commander, General Knobolsdorf, decided to try to turn the flank of XX Corps by launching a spoiling attack from the west bank of the Moselle, spearheaded by units of Panzer Brigade 106. The 357th Infantry Regiment had taken the town of Avril and was right in the path of the counterattack.
Attacker: German (Strosstruppe 2, Kompanie 1, Panzer Brigade 106 and Kompanie 3, Panzer Grenadier Abteilung 2106)

2024-12-13(D) Richard Jenulis vs Dave Wilson American winAT crew would not break and slowed down the German advance.
2018-08-25(D) Tuomo Lukkari vs PETER NORDLUND American win[Imported from ROAR]
2017-10-13(A) Alan Krause vs Martin Marquis American winCyberVASL 2018 round 1. First game with halftracks for me, and it showed - they were death traps! Conceded at the start of Turn 2.
2015-11-29(D) Andy Beaton vs Jonathan Kay American winTough on Germans - they had three CC's in the last turn they couldn't lose, including one at 3-1 -2
2015-03-22(A) Michael Rodgers vs Mike Allexenberg American winTried a piecemeal entry of forces over two turns. Was too scared of the ATG; should not have been. Mist plus small targets in motion should protect the Germans when they enter.
2013-09-21(A) Jeff T vs Jerry German winAfter packing up The Ceramic Factory, we decided to play this quick tourney scenario. Very good action as the Germans came in force to one side and unloaded leaving a single Stug to the other side to prevent the Americans from reinforcing. Jerry got a halftrack with a squad with the AT gun before he ill-advisedly tried to push it out of his building. I caught the crew in the street and broke them and even captured the AT gun. It came down to a last turn CC roll with my Germans 3-1 against his 9-2 led squad. I won a very close one. I'd say it favors the Americans. Good fun though with lots of options for a small scenario.
2012-08-12(A) Richard Carter vs Matt V. American winHe went on a tear w/ his mmg as I advanced up across the street. I also was much too aggressive w/ my afv's initially and lost both tanks one to recall on malf'd MA and one to his AT gun.
2011-06-08(A) Ian Willey vs Dave Ramsey German winRare win for me against Dave, his dice hated him, I just took advantage of that and still scrapped a win.
2011-04-08(A) Eric Partizan Eric vs Michel Bongiovanni American win
