2022-11-13(A) S. Slunt vs Rob Oler Russian winGood close scenario. The first weather roll started the snow falling and an advantage to the Germans as almost all the fire from the Russians would be effected by the range. I was pushing hard to the buildings. On turn 3 I took a Luchs and tried to skirt a building. I miss read a ATR for a LMG. The AFV was shocked - UK then eliminated to give him 22 CVP's to take the win. I did not help my self by rolling Box cars on fire from my tanks. Breaking two MA and I CMG
2022-10-17(A) Ian Morris vs Simon Staniforth German winWell-balanced scenario. An excellent defence made it very difficult for me to make headway. I lost a tank early, then moved two tanks and the halftrack into a pointblank ATG ambush. Game should have been over right there, but Simon couldn’t get RoF and my Shocked tank recovered to shoot up the gun crew, who broke. Very close to the CVP cap, the last turn saw me decline to advance into a CC as I already had two buildings, leaving just one CC with my Motion tank. A low roll would have seen Simon win, but it wasn’t to be.
2022-10-17(D) Simon Staniforth vs Ian Morris German winMy opponent has already written this up with a fine description of the action. It came down to the last half turn with the Russians having a roll in the final CC to win the game but it wasn’t to be. A bit more luck with the 45Ls TK rolls could have sealed an early win on the CVP cap. Thoroughly enjoyable game overall
2022-08-27(A) David Garvin vs Brent Crawford Russian win
2022-08-19(A) Tuomo Lukkari vs Olli-Pekka Kiukkonen Russian win[Imported from ROAR]
2022-08-06(A) Stephen dedier vs Brent Crawford German winGermans managed to eliminate one AC with an ATR and keep the AT gun DM'd only getting one tank immobilized. Immobilized the other AC while losing a PzII
Germans looped around the back to take a building with the HS in the halftrack but were stymied on getting the rest of the forces through the Russian defense. I wanted to concede and go to bed but Brent convinced me to play it out even though he had 2 squads ready to move on my one HS and blocked me with 3 squads (one Berserk) from the other buildings, with 1 squad in a victory building.
That is when the dice gods intervened. I went for the freeze on 2 buildings with PzII. And tried to run up 3 squads and 2 leaders. 2 squads broken, 2 leaders broken and 1 squad pinned next to the victory building.
Both CC with the PzII, i rolled snakes eliminating 2 squads including the 1 in the victory building.
Next turn Brent charges into the victory building with the Berserkers and i get a 1MC from the adjacent squad. He rolls boxcars eliminating the Berserkers! One of my units rallied and i walked into the victory buildings.
2022-08-01(A) Michael Rodgers vs Magnus Rimvall German winOur playing was skewed by the Russian AT gun breaking early, as well as one AC. German CVP almost reached the cap.
2022-07-15(D) g db vs German win
2022-07-02(A) David Ramsey vs Stuart Brant German win

(VASL Log)
The Russian gun was a little ineffective, with the Germans pushing hard from the east. The halftrack was recalled after 2 failed MCs but with the first armoured car destroyed there was little in the way of anti-tank resistance.
2022-04-26(D) Chuck Dye vs kevinkilleen German winRussians malfed a lmg, one armored car and the at gun on the first turn. At least it was over quickly.
2022-03-22(A) Andy Bagley vs Neil Brunger Russian winInteresting scenario, and close but not close enough from my point of view. Very smart defence from Neil, with all but one unit in the village "behind" hex 70I7. So I advanced my German infantry very quickly to the village outskirts but then met a wall of enemy fire. My tanks tried to assist but the Russian 45L guns, aided by some good shooting, proved too much for them - their ATRs are dangerous too. In the end I was still advancing, with an outside chance of taking two stone buildings, but hit the VP cap on turn 4.
2022-02-26(D) Dan Best vs Kermit Mullins German winFirst to play and post.
2022-02-26(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German winMy Germans sent the infantry from the souths on board 69 along with 3 of the tanks. Two other tanks came in from the east. One of the eastern tanks would be knocked out by an Armored Car. My 9-2 and 8-1 Tanks would both be immobilized. But by Turn 3, my Germans had taken two locations and managed to hang on for the win.
