Overview:

Part 3 of the "Roadblock at Mithwephok" Campaign Game played on HASL map. Commonwealth are in full retreat northward from Rangoon when lead units encounter a Japanese force at Mile Post 27 near the village of Mithwephok. They radio the situation and learn that a recon unit to the north has encountered the Japanese forces as well and it is more substantial within the village of Mithwephok. The Commonwealth escape is in jeopardy. The road to Prome must be cleared or all the forces evacuating Rangoon will be trapped between the roadblock and the invading Japanese army. The evacuation from Rangoon was hasty and the road was filled with a disorganize array of military units of all types. The Commonwealth commander orders whatever units are available and closest to Mile Post 27 forward to assist in clearing the Japanese roadblock and opening the road north.
Attacker: Commonwealth (1st Duke of Wellington Rifles with 1st Battalion, The Gloucestershire Regiment, the 12th Mountain Battery and 7th Queens Own Hussars)
Defender: Japanese (2nd Infantry Battalion, 214th Infantry Regiment)
