Overview:

On the morning of the 14th, a French counterattack was ordered against the breach at Sedan in an effort to contain General Guderian's bridgehead on the river Meuse. The attack was to be comprised of two tank battalions, each supported by an infantry regiment. These two groups, however, were unable to co-ordinate with one another and so the attack commenced with only half of its intended strength. With the first of Guderian's armor across the Meuse shortly after dawn, his first head-on encounter with French armor was now imminent.

2020-08-24(D) Jason Nichols vs Eric Topp German winGerman was lucky to crew both tanks and score "shock" hit on one of the French FCM's. Put French mortar out of action by breaking squad. Managed to delay French advance. Pzkpfw II performed over-run and broke French squad but was subsequently knocked out by a hull-down tank.
Very close terrain and limited lines of sight. Height advantage from chateau largely negated by extensive orchards. An interesting scenario.
2019-12-08(A) Shane Pask vs French winStarted with an error and gave French armour full move on turn 1. This may have made a difference but the tanks rolled low throughout the scenario burning the two panzers and dispatching the halftrack before it could fire a shot. They even scored a Critical hit against the infantry at the critical time and place to give the French victory on the last turn.

2016-10-08(D) Ian Morris vs Darren Orwin German win
2008-10-10(D) Fred Schwarz vs Doug Bleyaert German win
