Overview:
The Royal Norfolks engaged the SS-Totenkopf-Division in a swirling back and forth battle along the Canal d'Aire. Orders were issued to A Company of the Royal Norfolks to clear out the Germans from a large farm/cultivated section of ground west of the canal. This was close to a bridge over the canal that was needed to be taken. With the support from the Lancaster Fusiliers, A Company fixed bayonets and prepared to attack.Attacker: British (A Company, Royal Norfolk Regiment and the Lancaster Fusiliers)
